The Pozo Azul and Tenorio River section is a challenge for those who seek adventure and action.

These 12 kilometers of rapids are characterized by unexpected drops, quick turns and an impressive trip overall. Normally this section is a class 3, however it depends on the level of the water, which can change it to a class 4. The trip takes about 3 hours on the Tenorio River.

After the rapids, we will walk back to the transportation to endulge into a tasty lunch in the excellent scenery of the Rio Corobici Restaurant.

Travel time: 2 hours y 30 minutes en each way.

Departure time: 7:00 a.m. (Pinilla) / 7:00 a.m. (Tamarindo) / 7:30 a.m. (Conchal) / 7:00 a.m. (Flamingo) / 8:00 a.m. (Papagayo)

Return time: 5:00 p.m. Pinilla / Tamarindo 4:45 p.m. Conchal 4:30 p.m / Flamingo 4:45 p.m. Papagayo 4:00 p.m.

Minimum age: 7 years

Level: High. (You will need to be in good physical condition to take part in this tour).

What to bring: Shoes with rubber sole that can get wet, sunblock, swimsuit, towel, waterproof camera, extra set of clothes, insect repellent and money (for souvenirs).
