The Mar Inn Bed and Breakfast in Monteverde was constructed in 1988 and has been reconstructed recently into a Bed and Breakfast Country Lodge. the house has 6 rooms that include a private bathroom, small dining room and a kitchen to enjoy the local produce, prepared in the family´s style.

Monteverde Mar Inn Bed and Breakfast, one of the first B&B´s in Santa Elena Monteverde, was founded by Asdrubal Marin and Flora Morera in 1988. It was only a hostel with a shared bathroom and  rooms in Monteverde when the area was taking its first baby steps in the tourism world. Mister Asdrubal Marin and his wife Flora Morera are 100% natives of the city and because of this their accommodation is called Mar Inn. 

This is the legacy of their father: Committed with a smile on your face and be nice to all our guests that come to be part of the Marin Family.
