Northern Guanacaste
Playa Grande has a lenght of about 5km and forms part of the National Park created to protect the Leatherback turtle that is in danger of extinction. This natural paradis is only steps away from the Rip Jack Inn, which is a hotel perfect for surfers!
Crossing the estuary, you will find Tamarindo beach, an important tourism center full of restaurants, stores, bars, discos and, of course, more waves to surf.
The Rip Jack Inn has 8 beautifully decorated rooms that are located between exhuberant vegetation that includes banana trees, palms, almond trees, tropical flowers and many more exotic flora species. Each room has hot water, A/C, coffee maker and ortophedic mattresses.
The restaurant Upstairs is located on the second floor, where you can enjoy a magnificant panoramic view of the ocean, and delicious dishes prepared by the chef, James Spratlin, that has created a unique menu that reflect the freshness of local ingredients. The Restaurants is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
