Northern Guanacaste

Hotel Hacienda Guachipelín is one of the most interesting eco toursim hotels in Costa Rica for adventure trips and nature lovers. The hotel can be found in the creases of the National Park of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, only 35 minutes from Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Natural hot springs, primary forests, crystal clear waterfalls are just one of the many things to encounter for touritss to enjoy their stay in Hacienda Guachipelin. Furthermore because of its strong commitment to ecotourism, Hacienda Guachipelin continues to carry out the traditional job of raising horses.

For the adventure lover there are lots of activities at the hotel to take part in, such as horseback riding, El Cañón canopy tour, tubing on the rapids of Rio Negro, bird watching, as well as hikes to the active crates of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.

Para el aventurero, existen muchísimas actividades en el hotel tales como cabalgatas, el tour de canopy El Cañón, Aventura de tubing en los rápidos del Río Negro, observación de aves, así como caminatas a los cráteres activos del Volcán Rincón de la Vieja.

Hacienda Guachipelin is a rural, vriendly and tranquil hotel, but at the same time cozy and perfect for lovers of nature and adventure. 
There are 50 rooms, all with private bathroom and hot water.

From your room, you can enjoy the volcano views during the day, and at night relax with the sounds of nature on the background. On the grounds you will find various paths that allow a nice talk or exchange with your fellow travellers. 

In total there are 50 rooms: 30 standard, 18 superios and 4 junior suites. The standard rooms are found close to the reception area, pool and bar and cattle pens. All rooms have two beds that are either two doubles or one doube and one single. It is possible to put an extra single bed in the room if requested. Each room has a safe box and private bathroom with hot water, heated by solar panels.

The Superior rooms are bigger and more spacious. This roomtype is located in the newest building of the hotel, with the best view of the area, A/C and TV. There are 2 superior family rooms close to the reception and pool for better comfort. 

Suites: El Cenízaro and El Cedro. These rooms have been called like that to honor the tree species abundant in the Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin Forest. The suites are very comfortable, have nice finishings and a large terrace where you can admire the spectacular view of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Other characteristics: King bed, cable TV, A/C, safebox, hairdryer and minibar.
